You will be picked up from your accommodation in Sydney at 8.00am and head west to Hartley Vale. During the drive, you will be entertained by a choice of various movies on the way. The drive takes about 2 1/2 hours and we visit The Comet Inn in Hartley Vale for morning tea. Here you will walk back in time to the 19th Century and enjoy the antiques and collectibles throughout. Items you may never have seen or thought you might never see again.
Strolling around the grounds you will meet 'Peter' the peacock - call him Pretty Peter and he will show you his magnificent display. Then there is Brannigan the miniature horse, Lamington and Cupcake the pet sheep and you won't miss the 'Comic' Galah. The is also wildlife around and you will see kangaroos, wallabies, cockatoos, rosellas and other wild birds feeding in the garden. Around the garden you will also find a Museum of Railway Memorabilia plus the fully restored Cobb & Co. Stables.
We then head off to see the iconic rock formations of the "Three Sisters" and visitors centre where you can purchase souveniours and have lunch in Katoomba.
Next we head off to Jenolan Caves for the Orient Cave tour. The Orient Cave could well be the most beautiful cave in the world. As you move through the Orient Cave, from one breathtaking chamber to one even more highly decorated, you will be awestruck! The Orient contains the astonishing Persian Chamber and Egyptian Chamber. This part of the tour takes about 1 1/2 hours and requires average fitness.
We then head off back to Sydney and the tour concludes approx 5.00pm where you will be returned to your accommodation.
